Dr Lamarca, researcher in HMGBiotech Srl, gave a speech concerning “3D culture as model to study Malignant Mesothelioma tumor microenvironment”, highlighting the applications of HMGB1 BoxA as therapeutic molecule against mesothelioma.
BoxA is an highly conserved DNA binding domains of HMGB1 protein and inhibits HMGB1 effects in vivo. The study presentend by Dr Lamarca reaffirms the role of HMGB1 protein in next generation cancer models.
