On 12th December, Dr Liam Colley, researcher in HMGBiotech, will give an ESR presentation during the Final PhD Conference of RENOIR MSCA-ITN in Lyon, France.
RENOIR is an European Training Network focusing on the development and the implementation of PhD programme in the field of muscle regeneration and aging. This final PhD conference will highlight environmental control of cell identity in regenerating and diseased muscles.
Dr. Colley’s speech entitled “The Role of CXCR4 in Triggering Immune Surveillance in the Malignant Mesothelioma Tumor Environment“, will delve into how C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4)operates as a hub for anti-tumor immune signaling on malignant mesothelioma cells.
Specific studies about CXCR4, such as Dr.Colley’s work, might provide conclusions to improve current immunotherapies concerning mesothelioma.
